About SOCB

 

Established in 1989, SOCB fishes most of the local lakes in Orange County, Riverside County, Los Angeles County and San Diego County.  For our two-day events, we’ve traveled as far as Lake Alamo and Lake Havasu in Arizona, Lake Mead in Nevada, as well as Lake Santa Margarita and Lake Nacimiento in Central California.

 

SOCB offers every interested bass angler a chance to learn the sport, meet new friends, and experience California bass fishing at its finest. We’re a relaxed group with an emphasis on low fees and fun fishing. This club is perfect for the  beginner who is anxious to learn how to tournament fish in an low key tournament environment without having to pay large entry fees. However, we also have many advanced tournament anglers who just want to have some fun between major tournaments.

 

The club tries to fish a different lake every month so it’s a great way to experience all the Southern California lakes. Following each tournament, the winning methods are discussed so that each member comes away with a better understanding of each lake and specific patterns that worked.

 

So whether you’re a beginner without a boat, or a “salty dog” wanting to spend some time on the water with friends, SOCB is for you.
